If any of you know the struggle of having to take your makeup off every night after a long day at work or school, you probably wish that your makeup could just come off with the flick of the wrist.
Well, this Clinique Take The Day Off Cleansing Balm might just be the next best thing.
This light weight balm formula works wonders. You can use it in a dry or damp face. I splash just a little water on my face before using it and then I put a decent amount of the product on my fingers and rub it onto my face for about 30 seconds. You can use it on your eyes as it is super gentle and moisturizing. The picture below is what the consistency is of the product.
It doesn’t foam like a cleanser or soap, which was weird at first, but it removed all the makeup off my face, even my dark eye makeup.
After you rub the product on your face, you can wipe it off with a wet cloth, a makeup wipe, or even just wash it off with water and pat your skin dry. ย There are many ways to use this product, and no wrong way. I sometimes even wash my face with a cleanser after just to be extra clean. No harm in whatever way you use the product to remove your makeup.
I highly recommend this Clinique product, as it not only removes your makeup easily, but it leaves your skin feeling soft and moisturized.
Let me know in the comments below or tweet me @meghangiffin if you have ever used this product before! I would love to know your routine of using it!
Loving this product at the minute too! It’s so good at breaking down make up!

Thanks for this review! I’ve been curious about this product. It looks like it’d be so easy to travel with! Have you tried it on waterproof eye makeup by any chance?

I haven’t tried it on waterproof yet, I don’t really have many waterproof eye makeup products. When I do though, I will let you know!

Ah I love this product as a first cleanse stage! It leaves your skin super soft and I kinda like the fact that it doesn’t have much of a smell, It doesn’t need a fancy smell or anything to make it good, it does what it says on the tin! Btw i’ve just norminated you for the Liebster award over on my blog. https://meliamayy.wordpress.com/2016/02/26/the-liebster-award/ xx

The Body Shop’s Camomile Balm is a great alternative for this, cheaper too. Definitely worth a look as well, it’s my absolute favourite ๐

I recently just hauled this too (thanks to Patrick Starr’s recommendation)!! I love that it’s noncomedogenic! I usually just use this for my face makeup and then use the typical oil-remover-on-a-cotton-pad technique with my eye makeup.
